The blaring siren startled me, causing me to stumble in mid Faille. For a moment I was irritated it had interrupted my dance rehearsal, until I understood what it meant. Time had escaped me, as it always does. After my last class left, I had figured I would only practice dancing for a moment, if only ten minutes. I had completely forgotten how vital it wasn't that I didn't linger in the dance studio. The horn was a warning. T Ch. 1 Hiding From Scary Scenes

Choices- Ch. 14I probably would have kept sleeping if I hadn't been woken by an outrageous snore. At first I thought a bear was outside our window and I sat up in alarm. Or tried to. Jacob's arms were wound tightly around my shoulders, becoming my own personal straightjacket. He let out another snore. I held back a laugh, not really wanting to wake him, but not having a choice. I had to go to the bathroom and I was not going to wait until the Prince had decided it was a proper time to wake up. "Jacob?" Silence. I wiggled and squirmed till I had turned around facing him.

_{I just learned my brother used to kick our dog when he took him for a walk. Want to know why? Because Maxie was 13 years old and had arthritis and couldn't walk fast and my brother would get impatient.

I seriously can't stop crying now and i feel like I'm going to throw up... i have no one to talk to and it's killing me.}
